Every spring beautiful clusters of bright yellow Donkey Orchids appear in Kings Park. There are a few different varieties within the park. Look for Diuris corymbose Common Donkey Orchid and the Diuris magnifier Pansy Orchid that often grow in clumps within the bushland areas.

Eucalyptus kruseana Bookleaf Mallee can be found in Kings Park along Forrest Drive opposite the DNA Tower, and at the rear of the Floral Clock.
